Have you ever wanted to go through the LabVenture program like your students? Are you interested in learning more about how to extend LabVenture into your classroom? 

Come join us on August 18th where you will be able to experience LabVenture as your students do! Throughout the day we will be thinking about how to prepare students for LabVenture, going through the program as a student, and exploring different resources that will allow you to extend the learning into the classroom. All of our resources are available for free on teach.gmri.org. 

Time: August 18th 8:30-4:00

Location: Gulf of Maine Research Institute, 350 Commercial Street Portland, free parking available 

Who: 5th or 6th grade teachers in Maine, teams encouraged 

We will provide a light breakfast and lunch as well as a $125 stipend, 8 contact hours, and mileage reimbursement.
