Celebrating Our 2026 Gulf of Maine Wayfinder

This spring, we honored Jennifer LaBonte, Instructional Specialist for Lewiston Public Schools, as the inaugural recipient of the Gulf of Maine Wayfinder Award. Established in 2026, this annual award recognizes individuals and organizations whose leadership and partnership help turn our vision for the Gulf of Maine into reality.

The 2026 Gulf of Maine Wayfinder Award celebrates Jennifer Labonte, K–12 Math and Science Instructional Specialist for Lewiston Public Schools, whose partnership with GMRI has brought hands-on, inquiry-based science to every sixth grader in the district.
