  • Climate-Ocean and Coastal Law & Policy Research Specialist

    GMRI is seeking a Climate-Ocean and Coastal Law & Policy Research Specialist to investigate and analyze how climate, ocean, and environmental science can inform and interact with legal, regulatory, and broader governance frameworks (e.g., fisheries law, coastal zone management, working waterfront protection, managed retreat, and/or marine CO2 removal). This individual will work in close collaboration with GMRI scientists, program managers, and external partners to examine how scientific knowledge is incorporated into laws, policies, and regulatory decision-making, effectively bridging science and law. The individual will evaluate barriers and opportunities for translating science into governance tools and will help design strategies that strengthen ocean-climate resilience through law and governance.

  • Advancement Services Data Administrator

    The Advancement Services Data Administrator leads and provides direct support to GMRI’s data in Raiser’s Edge and Raiser’s Edge NXT, overseeing the integrity, structure and performance of this core data system. The role is also responsible for reconciliation between Raiser’s Edge and GMRI’s email platform (Mailchimp). The Advancement Services Data Administrator serves an integral role in strengthening data structures, improving functionality, and maintaining procedural documentation to support efficient, accurate, and strategic fundraising operations.

  • LabVenture Educator

    Educators will be responsible for up to six 2.5 hour in-person programs each week as well as virtual programming as needed. Program duties include working with the LabVenture team to welcome the students, deliver/lead student presentations/discussions, assist students while they conduct research at their multi-touch research tables, monitor for and troubleshoot errors, monitor “chats,” and operate the "behind-the-scenes" technology.

  • Restricted Fund Accountant

    The Restricted Fund Accountant will work with the Grants Manager to monitor and report financial activity for Federal and Foundational awards. Responsibilities include setting up project information in GMRI’s financial system, expense monitoring, invoicing, award closeout and preparing indirect and fringe cost allocations.
